FSU Graduation Photography: Kirthi

Kirthi reached out to me because I was recommended by one of her friends; a past client of mine! Before moving down south to pursue her recent job offer she wanted to capture the memory of her FSU graduation. In addition to herself, her family would be there to hop into a few snapshots! This is a common request, Mom and Dad want to be in the photos too! It was a classic shoot with three campus locations including Westcott Fountain, Heritage Fountain, and the Unconquered statue! The crowds were, as usual, pretty large in the lineup for Westcott Fountain photography. I was able to maneuver us around the craziness and capture some lovely photos that Kirthi and her parents will be able to look back on and enjoy for years to come!

I generally like to start shoots out at Westcott Fountain to get the “hard” part out of the way. Positioning around the wondering families, photographers, and grad students all in a tight space can be a stressful endeavor. Of course, everyone is always super polite and just wants to get the best images for their clients. So, getting through this iconic spot and moving to more open areas such as in front of Doak Campbell Stadium and “The Torch” allows us to take our time on the second half of the photoshoot! Below is a small selection of my favorite images from the grad photo session with Kirthi and her family.
