Grace
I recently had the pleasure of working with Grace, a talented CSI major at Florida State University, for her graduation photography session. Not only was she a joy to work with, but she was also incredibly enthusiastic about getting some great shots to commemorate this important milestone in her academic career.
We started our session at the iconic Westcott Fountain, a spot that holds special meaning for many FSU graduates. Grace was a natural in front of the camera! This is easily one of the most busy locations for graduation images in Tallahassee. The line to get photos on the Florida State plaque in front of the fountain can often times take 1-2 hours. So, for Grace’s images, we decided to skip this small location and shoot around it. Luckily, the Ruby Diamond Auditorium has a plethora of photogenic spots.
Next, we headed over to Doak Campbell Stadium, the heart of FSU's athletics program. Grace was a huge Seminoles fan, and growing up in Tallahassee the college played a huge part in her life. This spot was a must-have for her graduation photos. As we walked around the stadium, she shared stories about her experiences as a student on the Panama City Campus, and I could tell how much she truly loved being a part of the FSU community.
Our final stop was at Heritage Tower, where Grace donned her graduation gown and mortarboard for some classic cap-and-gown shots. This is my go-to spot for some truly stunning fountain grad images. There’s hardly ever a wait to take photos and honestly I feel like its much prettier than the Westcott Fountain!
Overall, working with Grace for her graduation photography session was a fantastic experience. Her infectious energy and love for FSU made every shot feel authentic and genuine, and I am so thrilled with how the images turned out. Congratulations, Grace, on your amazing achievement, and thank you for letting me be a part of your special day!
