Grad Photos at Westcott Fountain
This past fall graduation season, I had the immense pleasure of working with Jacob to capture his graduation portraits. We planned a lovely Saturday morning session, anticipating the usual flurry of activity around Westcott Fountain, the most popular spot on campus for cap and gown photos. To my surprise, we arrived to find the area almost completely empty!
Usually, Westcott Fountain is a hive of activity on graduation day, with long lines of graduates and their families patiently waiting their turn for the iconic shots. But on this particular morning, the atmosphere was surprisingly serene. We had the entire space to ourselves, allowing us to move freely and capture a variety of poses without any distractions. The lack of crowds, combined with the comfortable fall weather, created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for Jacob.
We seamlessly transitioned through a series of classic graduation poses, incorporating wardrobe changes to add variety. Towards the end of our session, we personalized the shoot further by capturing some unique moments that reflected Jacob's individual personality. We also made sure to capture some professional headshot images for his LinkedIn profile, a valuable asset as he embarks on his career journey after graduation.
