FSU Grad Photos at the Mag Lab

Congratulations to Sommer! Doctorate graduates are some of my favorite clients to work with. Hearing about the years of hard work and academic stress they had to push through to finally adorn their graduate regalia is always so inspiring. Most doctorate students have a less-than-traditional curriculum that takes them to all sorts of interesting classes and environments. Sommer was one of my most unique grad shoots to date! We had the awesome opportunity to take her graduation portraits at the National Magnetic Field Laboratory in Tallahassee, Florida (also known as the Mag Lab) where she worked and did her PhD research at FSU. not only was this a first for me in terms of photography locations, we were able to avoid the overwhelming crowds of more popular FSU graduation locations on campus. Plus we were inside for half the shoot and were able to weather the intense Florida heat. Below are a handful of images from the shoot. Sommer decided to go with the Basic Grad Package.
