Aidan’s Sunset Graduation Photos
Graduation season can sneak up on you. From final exams, coordinating with family, and finding living arrangements after the semester… it can get overwhelming fast! Luckily, through all the distractions Aidan and his parents reached out to me to schedule a Basic Grad Package shoot a few weeks before the FSU Spring graduation. Through a brief discussion about locations and time frames, we were able to get Aidan on the schedule with plenty of time to spare for his graduation photography session. One of Aidan’s main requests was to showcase the beautiful sunsets of Tallahassee in his cap and gown photos. What better place to get a broad view of the lovely sky than Landis Green by Doak Campbell Stadium. We got his shoot scheduled for Friday afternoon just before sunset and we were able to capture some truly lovely photos that he and his family will be able to cherish for years to come. Below are some of the captured images from his grad shoot.
Aidan was super fun to work with and our communication during the shoot allowed us to create a large amount of beautiful images in just a quick 30-minute photoshoot. Like every FSU Graduation season, this popular location was packed with other students and photographers getting their photos taken. Some near the iconic Florida State University arch sign, others crowded around the massive bronze Oceola “unconquered” statue. All that being said, I was able to work around them and create graduation photos free from unwanted distractions. No one wants other people in their grad photos, especially if you plan to print and hang them in the living room! Aidan and his mom were so delighted with their photos they decided to add a few additional photos to their final deliverables.
